Better Than Ever for Nurses. When we make things better than ever for nurses at Banner Health, we make things better than ever for all of us. This means investing in the holistic health and happiness of our nurses—through better pay, better benefits, better opportunities and a better community.

The Banner Gateway Stem Cell Transplant Surgical Oncology Unit is a very busy, 24-bed unit that specializes in the care of oncology patients. Responsibilities include: caring for patients from diagnosis to treatment of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and radiation treatment, symptom management, palliative (supportive) care, clinical trials, and care of some stem cell patients. A high percentage of our patients have a diagnosis of leukemia, but we care for patients with all types of cancer. We are affiliated with MD Anderson Cancer Center and work closely with them to ensure our patients get the best cancer care possible. Many of our patients have extended stays to complete their course of treatment. This allows us to really get to know each patient and their family members, which helps to form a therapeutic relationship/bond. Our nurses find this aspect of the job very rewarding.

As a Stem Cell Registered Nurse you will have the unique opportunity to not only provide the finest care possible, but to advance the way care is provided. To achieve our vision, we seek driven professionals who embrace change and who possess the passion and skills to make it happen. Oncology or Stem Cell experienced RN with BSN is highly preferred. This is a full-time night shift position, hours are 7am-7:30pm. Enjoy an 18%-night shift differential and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential. If working with a great team is what you are looking for, apply today!
