Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the staff RN performsprofessional role functions in accordance with scope of practice andprofessional standards, including demonstrating the knowledge and ability touse and/or lead the scope of practice, professional standards and accreditation/ regulatory standards, scope of practice for LVN and all other nursingpersonnel e.g. unlicensed assistive personnel. The RN demonstrates the abilityto assess their own professional role performance, current knowledge of theoryand principles related to discipline specific practice, and the ability to use apopulation based approach to determine patient needs.

Ability to meet all job & physical requirements as outlined in job description or as agreed through a work place accommodation.

1. Current CA State licensure as a Registered Nurse required.

2. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.

3. ACLS required within 3 months of hire.

4. Current NIHSS certificate required within 6 months of hire.

5. Minimum of one year RN experience in a post-acute or sub-acute setting preferred.
