Job Summary
Under minimal supervision, this position will perform all tasks of the Remote Replenishment Representative in an exemplary manner and take on limited higher-level tasks including, leading work efforts of other grades, utilizing oracle inventory control system, performing all tasks relating to receiving, storing and distributing materials within the replenishment area, issue converters and other equipment, validate inventory and/or standard issue accuracy, assisting supervisor with technician check-in including cash handling procedures, and for performing various administrative duties of the highest complexity relating to any and all remote replenishment activities, and at applicable locations, possess a thorough working knowledge of Cabledata's billing systems and its interface with the Oracle inventory control system.
Responsibilities

  • This position will require leading and training other employees in various tasks as deemed necessary by the supervisor
  • Responsible for performing physical tasks and leading other employees in accomplishing the following tasks associated with the distributing and receiving of materials within the remote replenishment area, including but not limited to the loading or unloading, storing and issuing of materials and consumer devices to technicians, and validating inventory/standard issue accuracy on a daily basis
  • Produce and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports, as required, for the supervisor's review and follow up
  • Responsible for meeting company standards pertaining to the quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis
  • Assist the field service supervisor with the technician check-in process
  • Perform administrative tasks of a high complexity through the use of appropriate company documentation relating to all remote replenishment activities and for ensuring documentation is completed in a full and accurate manner
  • Ensure all work-related tasks are performed in a manner that is in compliance with all Company and OSHA safety rules and regulations and all applicable laws
  • Monitor inventory/standard issue levels and the transfer of material between sites or initiating requests for additional material
  • Performs such additional duties and assignments, as the Field Service supervisor and/or manager may deem necessary
  • Ensure accurate material transaction/tracking processing including material issues, reverse logistics, and inter-organizational transfers
  • Identify and resolve all discrepancies in material transactions
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times, and dress in the company approved and supplied uniforms
  • Is in 100% compliance with all safety practices and procedures


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience and demonstrated the ability to perform all duties and responsibilities as described in the Logistics Operations Person or similar position description in an exemplary level
  • High School diploma or equivalent and the ability to read and write in English and perform, with a high degree of proficiency, basic mathematical calculations
  • Ability to work as a team member of a dedicated staff which fulfills the company's daily demand for material
  • Ability to lift and manipulate a variety of shaped items that weigh a minimum of 60 pounds, to use hand tools and operate all tools and equipment in a safe and responsible manner
  • Must possess valid drivers license
  • Must possess OSHA certification for operation of material handling equipment, i.e. forklift, electric jack, etc.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as a warehouse forklift and hand-truck with proficiency
  • Ability to operate with proficiency, a computer terminal with multiple software applications including Oracle for inventory control purposes, bar-coding, and all Microsoft office applications, including excel and word, as required. At the applicable location, must be proficient with Cabledata billing system
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as required
  • Ability to interface and communicate effectively within the Field Service group and with other Company functional groups
  • Ability to adapt to and work at multiple locations on a rotational basis, if needed
  • Ability to create successful working relationships with internal and external groups and organizations, including leading and training of other employees. Strong oral and written communication skills

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $47,040.00 - $77,280.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
This role is in a union and covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
