Role overview

To function as a Research & Development Specialist for Calo, and be a dependable researcher to work on preparing technical background reports and studies on the Kuwaiti market. The ideal candidate’s duties include aligning methodologies with research goals, using a range of tools to acquire information and interpret data, writing up reports and presenting high-level findings to management and other stakeholders, along with identifying current trends and patterns.

The ideal candidate has great communication and emotional intelligence skills. They are also well-versed in research principles and practices. 

Main Responsibilities

• Elevate the food experience to be the best in the market
• Develop a menu that resonates with Kuwaiti customers by understanding their preferences and palates while identifying new opportunities to expand market segments.
• Ensure that the delivery experience complements the food, with innovative packaging and efficient systems that delight customers.
• Take full responsibility for designing and updating the menu every two weeks, collaborating closely with local chefs and the central food team to ensure alignment with both local and global strategies.

• Build systems to collect, analyze, and act on customer feedback, ensuring data is statistically significant and actionable.
• Conduct interviews and research with customers to understand preferences, dining habits, and trends. Leverage insights to develop dishes that stand out in the Kuwaiti market.
• Collaborate with different teams like Marketing, Central Food, Logistics, and Operations to advocate for Kuwaiti-specific needs while maintaining overall alignment.

• Act as a bridge between customers, culinary teams, and operations to ensure the entire food and delivery journey is delightful, efficient, and reflective of customer preferences.
