Job Responsibilities

• Culture and maintain human inducible pluripotent stem cells and differentiated cardiac myocytes.
• Transcriptomics, RNA sequencing, protein proximity labeling.
• Western blotting of human and mouse heart tissues, immunofluorescent imaging and other molecular biology techniques.
• Assist with mouse husbandry, setting up mating pairs, weaning pups, ear tagging, daily checks of the colony and careful record keeping.
• Genotyping of mouse DNA by PCR, get electrophoresis (DNA and protein).
• Maintain a detailed laboratory notebook.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science and 0 to 1 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
