Resident Consultant-REMOTE

A Resident Consultant is both highly technical and business oriented. Resident Consultants are professional services experts dedicated to the success of enterprise clients by providing advisory services, driving use cases into production, establishing centers of excellence, building governance best practices, and more. Resident consultants provide value in multiple ways:

- Understanding client needs, including core business processes involving Alteryx products

- Build, deploy, and support analytic processes into customer environments which meet the needs of the business

- Bring industry expertise and stay current on market trends in data, analytics, cloud infrastructure, and AI

- Partner with Sales, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Professional Services to provide technical expertise and guidance on business cases

- Distill customer requirements for implementation and provide feedback to Product Management

- Provide strategic advisory on analytic adoption and best practices

Key Responsibilities:

· Best Practices: Be known for continuous innovation and sharing of knowledge within customer organizations and across internal teams

· Consulting Mindset: Advise on best practices for working with clients to drive deliverables, track work plans, and report status effectively.

· Strategic Advisory: Use industry knowledge and Alteryx assets to advise customers on the best path to develop, mature, and scale their analytic practices

· Technical Delivery: Build and deploy Alteryx analytic solutions into customer environments that drive value and enable adoption

Qualifications:

· College degree, 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role including technical support, customer success, presales, or consulting

· Strong communication with peers and senior leaders, reporting on status, organizational needs, with ability to listen and discern the best path forward

· Aptitude for Data Analytics (i.e., Alteryx technology, architecture, and resources) and general understanding of different database structures and data strategies

· Ability to operate independently, handle a fast-paced environment, and continuously re-prioritize while fixing critical issues as they are raised

Required Skills/Experience:

· Strong communication skills

· Project management experience

· Experience with traditional RDBMS databases

· Hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer and Server

· Alteryx Designer Core certification

Desired Skills/Experience

· Technical consulting focused on analytic or data management deployments

· Alteryx product certifications

· Experience with Alteryx Analytics Cloud Platform (AACP)

· Hands-on experience building BI Dashboard solutions

· Experience with Data engineering, pipelines, data warehouses, data lakes

· Cloud Certifications, such as: AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Engineer

· Data Warehouse Certifications such as Snowflake or Databricks.
Compensation $140,000-$160,000 plus bonus
