Residential Service Plumber

Job Overview We are seeking a licensed service Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential plumbing: specifically including installation, maintenance, repair and diagnostic work. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing systems are functioning efficiently and safely. Responsibilities • Install, repair, diagnose and maintain plumbing systems in residential homes and some commercial properties. • Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. • Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems. • Perform heavy lifting as required for the installation of plumbing fixtures and equipment. • Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project completion. • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their plumbing needs. Skills • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools necessary for plumbing tasks. • Strong ability to read blueprints and schematics related to plumbing installations. • Capable of performing heavy lifting as needed for various projects. • Experience in assembling various components of plumbing systems. • Knowledgeable in commercial driving regulations if required for transportation of materials. • Familiarity with carpentry skills is a plus, enhancing the ability to work on integrated projects. • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
