Description
Revenue recognition is our fastest-growing product launched two years ago to supplement our market-leading enterprise billing solution. Our quote to cash platform helps SaaS companies scale and traditional companies introduce recurring revenue streams through digital transformation. We're looking for a revenue recognition expert to help scale the product line by selling, implementing, helping existing customers, and contributing expertise for product innovations.
Responsibilities
Sales:
- Work with the Enterprise Sales team to develop a prospect/client-specific sales strategy and effectively position the revenue recognition product in sales pursuits
- Effectively configure and present the BillingPlatform revenue recognition solution to support prospect's unique requirements
Implementation/customer success:
- Lead both in-person and remote sessions with key client stakeholders from business or technical audiences to drive leading industry revenue management practices.
- Provide revenue recognition architectural oversight on multiple customer engagements and ensure solutions meet standards
- Understand customer's revenue recognition business requirements and design scalable end-to-end solutions
- Maintain an understanding of integrations, particularly general ledger implications
- Work effectively with internal onshore and offshore teams
- Create technical documentation, including ERDs, data flow diagrams, and business process flows
Product management:
- Partner with Product Management and Engineering to communicate and help prioritize revenue recognition roadmap requests
- Partner with product marketing to strategically position the revenue recognition product
General:
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring for the company
- 20-40% travel
Requirements
- Understanding of what challenges controllership divisions encounter while maintaining ASC 606/IFRS 15 compliance
- 3-7 years of revenue recognition experience required
- 1-3 years of accounting software implementation experience
- Bachelors or Masters Accounting degree or Business Administration
- Big 4 experience is a plus
- CPA preferred
