RPG Developer - IBM Client Innovation Center Belgium

Your Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for talented people to design, develop and maintain application solutions.
This role requires the ability to design, develop and/or re-engineer highly complex application components, programs and reusable objects on an AS400 system. Your work will power IBM and its clients, bringing innovation into enterprise systems. As a RPG developer you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain RPG applications on an AS400 system

• Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code

• Perform testing and debugging to ensure software quality and reliability

Who are you?

• You are self-motivated and technically hands-on

• You have relevant experience in Application Development in IBMi environment using RPG language

• You have knowledge of SQL

• You have iSeries/AS400 database experience, preferably DB2

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

To be successful in this role you should demonstrate:

• Several years of relevant experience in Application Development in IBMi environment using RPG language

• Fluent in English and in Dutch or French (written & spoken)
• Knowledge of SQL

• iSeries/AS400 database experience, preferably DB2

• Good problem-solving and analytical skills

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Previous experience in Healthcare is a plus.
