About the Role:

Dr Squatch is looking for a Sales Coordinator to help accelerate growth in our network of independent gift retailers across the country. This role will be foundational in refining and perfecting the processes and systems to help this channel scale.  

This role will report to Head of Retail Sales. 

This is a full-time role with company benefits based in Marina Del Rey, California.

The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $65,000 - $75,000, plus quarterly bonus potential based on achievements of targets. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.

What You'll Do:

  • Identify and grow new opportunities within the independent (Gift) channel
  • Prospect new customers via phone & email
  • Test & refine our outbound sales process
  • Ensure timely processing and shipment for all wholesale orders
  • Own all wholesale customer communications and support requests within the Gift channel
  • Support external sales reps with product questions and issues with customers or orders
  • Lead external sales reps in training sessions
  • Work with internal teams to help create pricing & price lists, determine product assortment, and initiate new item setup in online systems
  • Create and run wholesale email marketing campaigns
  • Assist in designing marketing collateral to support the wholesale gift channel and coordinate distribution
  • Coordinate sample sends to reps and customers
  • Generate and process timely commission reports for external sales agencies
  • Coordinate implementation of trade show booths, travel to support at shows

About You:

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, account management, customer service, or similar
  • Background in CPG highly desirable
  • Prior startup experience a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Interest in health and wellness, personal care, and/or eCommerce industries
  • Experience working in the consumer products industry is highly preferred
  • Someone who gets things done without perfect resources is innovative and works with a sense of urgency
  • Someone who has high standards takes ownership and is invested in the outcome
  • Someone who proactively helps others stays positive and has a good sense of humor
