We are looking for a full-time Sales Development Representative (SDR) based on the East Coast (EST time-zone) to join our USSales Team.
You will be responsible for generating and supporting newly qualified sales opportunities. You’ll identify the appropriate contact among our target customers and get in touch with them, show the added value of our product, build interest, qualify their relevance and hand them over to the appropriate Account Executive for further support. You will select the best communication methods and craft an engaging outreach to connect with potential customers, including phone, e-mail, LinkedIn and other social media channels.
What you can expect:
- Promote and market parcelLab's solutions to our target customers through creative and timely e-mails, cold calls and targeted outreach messages on social media
- Meet or exceed monthly meeting and new opportunity targets
- Conduct in-depth discovery and research, to provide relevant information to the Sales team to ensure a successful first meeting
- Nurturing prospects to ensure parcelLab are top of mind at all times
- Working together with the Regional Sales Lead to grow a specific sales region or specific verticals
- Tracking all your outreach and correspondence in Salesforce
What you need to succeed:
- 1-2 years' experience in a business development-focused role, selling a B2B SaaS solution
- Strong listening skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence others and maintain relationships
- Proven track record demonstrating strong articulation of a product's selling points via phone, e-mail or social media
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex and technical issues clearly
- Prior experience of using Salesforce or a similar CRM tool
- Well-organized, with excellent time-management skills
- Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to deal with rejection
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
- Completed Bachelor's degree
- Strong technical aptitude
- Knowledge of the Retail/Ecommerce sector
- Experience working in MarTech
- Prior experience working in a startup/scale-up environment
