Job Description
Service Express is hiring Sales Development Representatives (SDR) to join our team. We are looking for a go-getter, strategic thinker and someone who is always in pursuit of consistent growth. Your role as an SDR will be to reach out to and engage potential customers to create new sales opportunities and pipeline (future revenue) for Service Express’ sales organization. To accomplish this, you will work closely with your team of SDRs and build strong partnerships with Senior Account Executives in territories throughout Canada and the US. This position is a great opportunity for those looking to start their career or gain more sales experience in a growing IT services industry.
Here is what a typical day as an SDR looks like:
- Remote to start until Toronto office is fully set up, then in-office 3 days a week (Tues-Thurs)Â
- Leveraging a variety of outreach tools such as phone, email, and social platforms (LinkedIn) to develop interactions with potential customers
- Understand and effectively deliver the Service Express value proposition, articulating our service capabilities to schedule meetings for your Senior Account Executive partners
- Achieving and exceeding daily, weekly & monthly metrics (meetings scheduled, meetings held, opportunities created, etc)Â

- 0-2+ years of professional experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields with a strong interest in impacting customer solutionsÂ

- Ability to think on your feet in a conversation- ask and answer questions with easeÂ

- 55k-60k CAD + commission for an OTE of 70-80k CAD (commissions are uncapped)
- Senior SDR – internal promotion after 9 months based on consistent performance and growing team impact
