Gourmet Ads is the global leader in online Food Advertising solutions, managing online advertising on thousands of food and recipe sites worldwide. Our advertising clients include major food brands, grocery stores, retailers, and kitchenware companies, helping them reach their target consumers online.

We seek an ambitious and driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team.

Reporting to the Head of Sales, your primary goal is to increase the number of qualified leads, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality leads for our Programmatic Advertising and Managed Services sales teams.

This role is entirely remote, with a preference for candidates able to operate within the EST time zone.

Recent graduates seeking entry-level experience in the advertising industry are suitable candidates for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Lead generation: Research and identify potential clients or customers. Utilize various tools and resources, such as LinkedIn, online directories, and industry databases, to create a pipeline of prospects.
  • Outreach: Conduct outbound prospecting activities via phone and email to engage and qualify leads. SDRs are responsible for initiating the first contact with potential clients and generating interest in Gourmet Ads' advertising solutions.
  • Qualifying Calls: SDRs will conduct qualification calls with prospects to understand their business needs, pain points, and objectives. Then determine if they are an ideal fit for working with us.
  • Appointment setting: Schedule meetings between qualified leads and our sales team. This helps ensure that our sales representatives are focusing on high-potential prospects.
  • Data Entry: Accurately record and update prospect information, lead status, and sales activities in Salesforce.
  • Sales performance: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified leads, meetings scheduled, and any other key performance indicators (KPIs) set by the sales manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Ideally, 1 or 2+ years of experience in sales, sales development or business development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other customer relationship management tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Salary Range - $40k - $60k
