Job Description:
Are you passionate about promoting healthy living and want to make a direct impact on giving people access to fresh foods? If so, we're looking for a Sales Director to generate sales in the grocery/retail sector for our refrigerated beverages. In this role, you will be the driving force behind developing systems, initiating and cultivating customer relationships, and closing sales. Your upbeat and professional demeanor will be instrumental in representing our purpose-driven brand.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for our cold-pressed juice products in the grocery/retail sector.
- Customer Relationship Management: Initiate and nurture relationships with key customers, including grocery store chains, independent retailers, and distributors.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to drive product development and sales strategies.
- Systems Development: Create efficient sales systems, including sales processes, tracking, and reporting, to maximize productivity and achieve sales targets.
- Sales Target Achievement: Drive revenue growth by setting and exceeding sales targets and objectives while managing the sales budget effectively.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our product offerings, including ingredients, benefits, and positioning in the market.
- Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and conditions with potential clients and close sales deals that align with our business objectives.
- Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in grocery/retail sales, preferably in the refrigerated beverage industry.
- Customer Focus: Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to identify and meet customer needs.
- Sales Expertise: Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market data, trends, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with an upbeat and professional demeanor.
