How You Will Make a Difference  

  • As a Sales Engineer you will be the technical expert for our customers and partners. You’ll work closely with our sales teams by driving the creation of high-quality content and actively participating in technical engagements from the pre-sales phase to deployment phase (e.g. leading technical workshops) 

  • A large part of your role will be customer facing both through guidance and coaching on-site, online, and via telephone and through presentations to large audiences at shows and events. Therefore, you should have the ability and desire to make complex technical topics accessible to customers and partners who don’t understand it, as well as negotiating with experts. 

  • Understand customer problems, work with the sales team, and show a demonstrable solution that fits the customer’s needs. 

  • Provide Proof of Concept service to potential customers and help clients with planning and implementation of Trend Micro products. 

  • Develop a deep understanding of customers’ goals and objectives and articulate how our offerings address their needs with a Business Solution Proposal, RFI/RFP specification preparation. 

  • Act as a spokesperson during Press Interviews on technology or Security products with great skills in presenting and demonstrating security solutions to small groups, but also larger audiences. 

  • Develop healthy and trusted relationships with key partners in your region. 

  • Conduct competitor’s product analysis; Write technical white papers. 

  • Willing to travel regularly for training, customers facing activities, as well as marketing and user group events 

 

 

Our Ideal Candidate  

  • 6-8 years’ experience in Pre-Sales or related field. 

  • BS degree or combination of: education Computer Science, Engineering and Pre-Sales experience in Security or Cloud Systems. 

  • At least two (2) years of experience working with Public Cloud provider technologies and services (AWS, Azure, GCP). 

  • Good technical knowledge in Internet architecture, network infrastructure, UNIX, Windows, VMware, Cisco, Email Messaging Security and Web Security is essential. 

  • Experience that emphasizes L2-L4 Networks (L2 switching architectures including Spanning Tree, IP routing that includes OSPF and BGP, and L4 Load balancing). 

  • Knowledge of cyber-attack techniques like exploits, attacks and enterprise security technologies like IDS/IPS, Sandboxing and Machine Learning. 

  • Strong knowledge in Advanced Persistent Threats (APT) concepts such as MITRE ATT&CK™.  

  • Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, account management and negotiation skills, with the ability to interface with a diverse set of clients including administrators and C-level executives. 

  • Obtain an Industry or Technical Certification (i.e. TCSE, MCP, ITIL, CCNA, CISSP, CNE, MCSE, SUN Professional) or equivalent within time-frame established by the manager) 

  • Self-starter and quick learner with desire to continually learn new tools and technologies. 

  • A team player

  • Able to work independently, structured and result-oriented 

  • Fluent in English and Arabic and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, French will be good too!  

  • A quick learner with desire to learn new tools and techniques 

  • Used to working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment  

  • Passionate to protect the world from Cyber Attacks!
