Job Description
Braun Machinery is seeking a dynamic sales professional to sell Trumpf leading-edge metal fabricating technology in Eastern Michigan. Trumpf is the recognized world leader in lasers, automation, press brakes, punching machines, software, and more. It is a $6 billion German private company that invests around 10% of its revenue annually in R & D to stay ahead of the global competition.
Braun Machinery is the exclusive Trumpf dealer for Michigan and has achieved superior market share by building strong customer relationships through focused sales and marketing. As the incumbent Braun Machinery sales engineer for East Michigan is retiring later this year a seasoned veteran is now required to assume management of existing customers as well as to grow new accounts.
While experience in selling fabricating equipment is highly desirable, any candidate with 8-10+ years' proven track record in selling complex and high-value capital equipment will be strongly considered. This is an outstanding income opportunity for the right talented and self-motivated candidate.
Position Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with existing and prospective customers in East Michigan through selling Trumpf metal fabricating equipment.
- Plan and perform customer sales calls, assess customer needs, prepare customer quotes, close orders, and follow up on all related activities within assigned territory.
- Monitor, manage, and report sales activities.
Position Requirements:
- 8-10+ years of Field Sales experience in Industrial / Manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to evaluate product applications and assist customers with product scope, technical description, proposals, and project management.
- High-energy sales talent with the ability to work independently, with excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to travel to offsite business and customer locations as well as occasional trips within US and abroad.
