THE ROLE
We are currently hiring a Strategic Sales Lead focusing on the technology part of our business. The Strategic Sales Lead will be responsible for the full sales cycle and closing of deals with large, strategic clients. This highly visible position will successfully interact and engage with top tier clients. They must be able to have a strong understanding of client’s needs, and determine the right set of DEPT® services to provide in order to meet and exceed client’s expectations. This position entails identifying, creating, and maintaining trusting relationships throughout the industry by having a strong network base, expert knowledge, and exceptional follow through skills. This individual is an enthusiastic and disciplined professional with strong sales and communication abilities. The goal of this position is to grow DEPT® Commerce/System Integration sales and revenue, as well as our presence in the ecommerce industry by obtaining high end clientele and projects to add to our already proven portfolio. Frequent travel is required. The role will be compensated with a base salary, with overall target earnings determined against closed, net new revenue for the Commerce/SI entity.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Establishing a targeted list of accounts to go after and being able to self-generate business opportunities
- Collaborating with technical leads and account managers to position DEPT® in the US marketplace Â
- Working closely with prospective customers to understand their needs, determine the right solution and set of  DEPT® services to provide
- Tight collaboration with  DEPT® solutions/technical teams, strategy team and accounts team to customize services and formulate pricing proposals
- Fully running the sales cycle and closing the deal
- Facilitating a strong sales handoff process with the delivery team to ensure high quality execution of the project and services
- Working closely with key partners to pass leads and orchestrate a collaborative sales process with joint prospective customers
- Networking and attending key events and trade shows, alliances meetings etc.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Strong network of relationships within the Salesforce space, Adobe space & other emerging Commerce platforms and/or tools
- Direct sales experience in the professional services or ecommerce software space, specifically system integration and eCommerce platform development work
- Proven success in a previous sales position
- Target oriented and results driven individual
- A strong hunter mentality and familiarity with ecommerce tools and digital experience technology
- Ability to work effectively in a collegial team environment
- Passion and curiosity to learn is a major part of our company culture and will be required to be a successful team member
- Significant and actionable executive relationships within digital commerce
- A strong understanding of industry trends EG: headless architecture and progressive web apps, enterprise integration, customer digital experience and optimization
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree of education relevant to the industry.
Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Â
Certificates and Licenses: No certifications are needed.
Work Environment: Remote position. Travel required.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $180,000 - $220,000 + OTE. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we're flexible.Â
