Overview
The Market Development Team within Bio-Rad's Life Science Group (LSG) is a dynamic and innovative group that drives product adoption and awareness with dedication, focus and attention. As a Sales Leader within this team, you will work with key opinion leaders, academic and industrial partners, and internal stakeholders to promote and support Bio-Rad's portfolio of single-cell solutions. You will collaborate with product management, marketing, R&D, and regional sales teams to develop and execute strategies for market penetration, customer education, and revenue growth. You will also be responsible for hiring, training, and coaching a high-performing global sales team that can deliver on ambitious key performance indicators and customer satisfaction. Furthermore, you will build and maintain a strong customer base that can act as references and advocates for our products and services.
How You'll Make An Impact:
- Develop and execute a global sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market share goals for Bio-Rad's single-cell portfolio.
- Collaborate with regional sales managers, product managers, marketing, R&D, and support teams to ensure alignment and coordination of sales activities and initiatives.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, including pipeline, conversion rates, win/loss ratios, and customer feedback. Identify and implement best practices and areas for improvement.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, customer needs, and market trends in the single-cell field. Provide feedback and insights to internal stakeholders and influence product development and marketing plans.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key opinion leaders, strategic partners, and influencers in the single-cell community. Represent Bio-Rad at industry events, trade shows, and conferences. - Ensure compliance with Bio-Rad's policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
What You Bring:
- Education: Minimum of a BS degree in the life sciences (MS/PhD preferred)
- Work Experience: At least 5 years of sales experience within the life sciences segment, preferably in genomics and cell biology.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a diverse team of sales representatives across different regions.
- Demonstrated domain expertise in single-cell genomics and or cell-based technology, with a strong understanding of the market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key opinion leaders, strategic partners, and influencers in the single-cell community.
- Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies and plans, aligned with the company's vision and goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to monitor and evaluate sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with compliance with Bio-Rad's policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $145,400 to $199,900 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for quarterly commission based on assigned sales quotas.
