Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Customer Master Specialists interact with customers, company sales and/or service representatives, all Global Business Units, Financial Solution Centers. and various functions/departments within TE.

The Global Controlling Processes (Master Data) team is seeking a Sales & Marketing Support (Customer Master Specialist) in Middletown, PA. This is a key position responsible for customer account creation and maintenance. This position will support the Americas region.

The shift for this role is Monday to Friday (flex hours between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm)

You will be on site for training as needed and currently a hybrid working schedule working on Tuesdays in the office in Middletown, PA and the rest working from home. Subject to change if management requires.

What your background should look like:

Position Responsibilities:• Serve as a Customer Master Specialist for the Americas region• Fully understand and be knowledgeable regarding coding structures affecting customer master data and the rules for their usage• Industry Code research/assignment• Worldwide Account Number (SAP's Customer Hierarchy)• SAP Account Groups• Learn and properly use the Global Customer Maintenance (GCM) application• Fully understand and user proper steps and applications to support customer account creation and maintenance• Properly research customer to assign correct coding• Adhere to rules of Trade Compliance• Ability to collaborate/work cross-functionally with Business Units, Credit, Customer Care and Finance• Follow Corporate policies and procedures• Work as a team player• Special projects as assigned

Position Qualifications:• Experience in SAP• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook/Excel/Word/PowerPoint, etc)• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to demonstrate teamwork• Ability to work with all levels within TE• Previous experience in Customer Care or similar role• Ability to maintain an unbiased approach when dealing with multiple BU's• Understand business terms and their usage ex. Payment terms• Well-developed communication skills (oral/written)• Strong attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy• Process Improvement Mindset

COMPENSATION• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience:$46,600 - 69,800 (subject to change dependent on physical location)• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith.
