Key Responsibilities

As a Sales Representative Trauma for our Trauma division you will sell innovative, life-changing surgical products and help improve healthcare. As a Trauma Sales Representative at Stryker, you will help us deliver on our mission of making healthcare better by promoting and selling Stryker products, including plates, screws and nails, for elective and acute Trauma surgery. Whether it's in the operating theatre, the office or clinical meetings, you will conduct inspiring product demonstrations and support our customers by building long lasting partnerships. Using your product knowledge and quick thinking to solve product problems, you're always available to educate and support surgeons and theatre staff on how to properly use and maintain these life-changing products.

  • Driving growth in the territory through active constant customer engagement
  • Customer selection, targeted sales approach
  • Plan and execute on a quarterly and annual business plan, this will be showing management of existing revenue streams and customers, and driving acquisition across the territory generating growth.
  • Control all resources and materials in his/her territory (demo kit)
  • Customer care for physicians, surgical/theatre staff and hospital administration with the goal of achieving qualitative and sales-oriented consultation
  • Ensuring products are sold and revenue gains are established within the limits of in-house guidelines
  • Achieving the sales and margin targets for the territory
  • Managing contracts and pricing agreements in the territory
  • Representing Stryker to all levels of HCP, commissioners and managers in their territory
  • In-theatre support where required
  • Completing quotes / reporting as and when required
  • Support in-person customer experience of our products through coverage of exhibits, trade shows and educational labs
  • Continues to support compliance and the principles of responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements, and Company's policies and procedures
  • Remains current on industry, customer, and competitive trends
  • Acts in a consultancy capacity with other Stryker department
  • Promoting and disseminating the culture of compliance (compliance with regulations and ethical behaviour).
  • Fulfill the quality policy and comply with company's standard operative procedures

What are we looking for?

  • Background in Physiotherapy or Nursing is desirable;
  • Previous experience in the Medical Devices industry is desirable;
  • 2+ years of experience in a Commercial role, ideally in the Medical devices sector;
  • You are highly flexible to travel within your territory (80% travel).
  • You hold strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • A strong customer interaction experience is important for you as you place the customer at the heart of everything you do.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English is required

Territory: North East Netherlands

Based location: Any main city of the region, including Zwolle, Deventer, Amersfoort, Groningen, Heerenveen, Enschede, Apeldoorn, Emmen.

Travel percentage: 80%

Operating room required: 40%
