Position Summary
Our Development Operations Team works closely with Quench’s internal business users and stakeholders to drive effective use of Quench data and visualization tools. Quench’s primary system is built on Salesforce.com and includes Zuora, ServiceMax, FinancialForce, Supply Chain Management, CPQ, as well as several other systems.
The team’s primary function is to support day to day business use of our systems and provide timely resolution to bugs and end user issues. They are responsible for triaging all incoming business requests and determining level of complexity, severity, and impact of any potential system changes. They take a proactive approach working directly with end users to help drive business requirements related to each request prior to working toward a resolution. They also provide feedback to our corporate trainers on areas of need for transactional integrity throughout the system and identify issue trends and recommend solutions.
Responsibilities
The Salesforce Analyst will be a core member of the DevOps Team and will gain expertise across multiple systems and experience projects of varying scale and complexity. This role will provide positive guidance to the business users and be a curious learner. The successful candidate must be fluent in Salesforce Administration and able to run small to mid-sized projects and help the team implement solutions for our company’s unique needs. This is a hands-on technical role where you will work directly with the entire IT team and work on multiple issues and projects simultaneously. They will be self-motivated, detail-oriented problem solver with excellent documentation and communication skills. They will take responsibility for solving complex problems and driving simplicity in our solutions.
· Review incoming business requests and manage the daily support and maintenance of Salesforce and Force.com applications
· Work collaboratively with business users to assist in gathering and refining business requirements related to each request
· Build and unit test Salesforce configuration-based enhancements that lead to efficiency gains and an improved user experience
· Identify high priority business requests or bugs and escalate to broader DevOps teams
· Manage workload and end user expectations
· Help identify unused or underutilized platform features
· Assist with License Management
· Identify business requests of greater complexity or system impact and collaborate with development team on potential solutions
· Identify trends in inbound user requests and recommend solutions to eliminate ongoing issues or need for support
· Assist with quality assurance testing of improvements and new features developed by the broader development team and managed service providers
· Write documentation capturing business and system processes related to system changes
· Manage end user requests through development cycle.
· Adhere to implementation standards, techniques, technologies, and methodologies for Salesforce development.
· Manage projects and ensure proper team usage of documentation throughout project and development lifecycle.
· Stay informed of new products and technologies and evaluate, recommend, and implement appropriate technologies to enhance the organization's technical capabilities.
· Flexible to adjust to shifting priorities according to business needs
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or specialized training/certification
· Minimum 3 years Salesforce Administration experience
· Experience with Agile software development environment
· Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Willing to take initiative and be innovative
· Have excellent time management skills
· Consultative and customer-service-oriented in nature in working with the functional teams
· Able to anticipate, identify, and solve problems through root cause analysis to deliver practical, timely solutions
· Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with business stakeholders / other IT team members
o Salesforce Administrator and/or Salesforce Advanced Certification
o Salesforce CPQ experience
o Salesforce Platform Event Monitoring
o Salesforce CRM Analytics
o Experience with ServiceMax, Zuora, Financial Force, Supply Chain Management
o Firm understanding of how to use Salesforce dashboard and reporting
o Knowledge of APEX
o Knowledge of Boomi, MuleSoft, or other integration platform
o Understanding of APIs
o Ownbackup or Salesforce Backup experience
