Intel's Technology Development Analytics and Technology Automation (TD ATA) organization is seeking talented SAP ABAP software engineers to design and develop factory automation systems for its Factory Data Systems group (FDS). In this role, the individual will be expected to partner with multiple organizations across the Business Units, Finance, Engineering, TMG and GSC to understand the various datasets leveraged as part of Supply Planning, propose solutions for data management, and align on a set of analytics required to support decision making. The successful candidate should have familiarity with demand, supply planning, quantitative data analysis, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a strong attention to detail.

As a System Software Engineer you will:

• Driving projects through the entire software development life cycle from requirements to implementation.
• Manage interdependencies and integration among multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders.
• Have decision making authority at the project level.
• Be the key Project interface with stakeholders and lead internally or externally.
• Communicate status across defined project key performance indicators.
• Recommend or set execution plans in place to support project goals.
• Influence business unit or cross-organizational strategies relevant to project goals. Have advanced understanding of the technical concepts, architecture, systems, development methods, and disciplines associated with the defined program, and utilize knowledge to accelerate project completion.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in Engineering with 7+ years of working experience listed below or master's degree in Engineering with 5+ years of working experience listed below.

Working experience in:

• ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) and WRICEF objects (Reports, Interface, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms)
• Understanding of SAP ABAP coding standards and standardized estimation techniques
• Researching, recommending, and developing user exits, BADIs, and Enhancement Points, and using the Switch Framework
• Debugging, performance tuning, Runtime Analysis, and System monitoring.
• Interfaces-EDI/ALE/IDOCs, RFC, BAPI's
• Data Conversions using BAPI/BDC/LSMW.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP development tools and technologies such as UI5, Fiori, and Webdynpro are strongly preferred
• Experience with software development using Neptune Software.
