Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in Information Systems.
  • Experience with SAP domain across industries, including Cloud implementations.
  • Experience with Cloud Foundry or RESTful Application Programming Model.
  • Experience with SAP BTP and SAP SaaS solutions, including SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP eCommerce, S4HANA public and Private cloud, SAP Integration Suite, EnableNow, and others.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v4 accreditation.
  • Experience in SAP Process Automation (SPA), API-M Rapid Application Development, and deployment.
  • Experience supporting and implementing automation throughout end-to-end service life cycles.
  • Experience in global Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environments.
  • Knowledge of BTP services like Portal, WebIDE, Mobile Services, Security, and user experience (UX).
  • Familiarity with SAP Software compliance, software auditing, Service Design as a practice, Service Design concepts, and introduction of modern operations methods.

As a SAP Business Technology Platform and Data Architect, you will be responsible for leading Google Cloud's Business Technology Platform (BTP) software as a service (SaaS) portfolio. You will be a part of our core team involved in the expansion of SAP portfolio business and building additional value on top of SAP S/4HANA with BTP and other Cloud components. As a trusted technical advisor, you will work with North America customers across industry sectors, including Retail, Automotive, Life Sciences, and High Tech.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$208,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, strategy, and design of SAP BTP services in alignment with SAP's guidelines and Google Cloud's SAP.
  • Manage roadmap and lifecycle of the BTP engagements ensuring reliability, security, and business continuity of its services to the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform.
  • Work directly with the ERP platform owner and subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand, prioritize, and advise on BTP focus and rollout.
  • Lead architecture design workshops during the migration of the on-premises ERP platform to a hyperscaler.
  • Mature and maintain appropriate BTP service metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), risk indicators, and service level agreements (SLAs). Become accountable for communicating updates and BTP service consumption for auditing and reporting purposes.
