SAP Basis Consultant

Your Role and Responsibilities
As an SAP Consultant you will serve as a client-facing practitioner responsible for selling leading and implementing expert services using the breadth of IBM’s offerings and technologies. A successful SAP Consultant is considered by clients as a trusted business advisor who collaborates to provide innovative solutions for solving the most challenging business problems.

You will work on projects that assist clients in integrating strategy process technology and information to enhance effectiveness reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value. There are opportunities for you to acquire new skills work across different disciplines take on new challenges and develop a comprehensive understanding of various industries.

Your primary responsibilities include:

• SAP Security Planning and Implementation: Design and implement robust SAP security plans and strategies ensuring the protection of systems and data.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective technical specifications for seamless security integration.
• Security Posture Evaluation: Evaluate the current security posture of SAP systems identifying vulnerabilities and implementing solutions to enhance overall security.
• Best Practices Adherence: Ensure that the devised security solutions align with industry best practices regulatory standards and internal policies meeting stringent security requirements.
• User Roles and Permissions Management: Define user roles and permissions implement robust user provisioning and deprovisioning processes and actively monitor user activity to promptly identify and address suspicious behavior.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Proven experience as a SAP Basis consultant E2E implementation with minimum 4 years as SAP Basisconsultant
• Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture HANA database administration and operating systems.
• Familiarity with SAP system installations upgrades and patches.
• Proficiency in SAP system monitoring and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of SAP security concepts and user management.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• SAP certifications are a plus.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in SAP Solution manager (ITSM ChaRm) are plus.
• Experience in SAP GRC is plus.
