Job Purpose

The SAP Functional Analyst will be specializing in SAP FI/CO reporting to the Director of Core Applications. The successful candidate is expected to have strong design skills and should be able to provide comprehensive functional and technical specs to the development team for end-to-end solutions. This role works closely with individuals within the finance group to support their business processes and their reporting responsibilities to the operational business units and executives. The role also requires knowledge of SAP's Business Intelligence (BI) reporting and FIORI apps.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Configure, deploy, enhance, and support the FI and CO modules of SAP S/4HANA and other allied systems
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of AR, AP, GL, Assets, Controlling, BI reporting
  • Analyze business processes and be able to recommend, design and implement solutions to meet business process requirements within SAP
  • Analyze and solve technical and functional problems and provide support for production issues, enhancements, and large-scale projects.
  • Develop business requirements into functional and technical specifications
  • Understand all integration points within FI and CO modules with the other SAP modules in use by SageNet (i.e., AA, SD, MM, PS, SM)
  • Implement and provide support for applicable FIORI apps in GL, AP, AR, and Asset Accounting
  • Design reports and dashboards in SAP BI in collaboration with the BI technical team.
  • Create master and transactional data, support business in setting up variety of objects related to all the submodules of FI and CO
  • Perform functional and user acceptance testing in the respective modules
  • Produce user documentation and train users, as needed
  • Adopt and implement new technologies which will enhance existing solutions
  • Ensure compliance to SDLC, SOC2 and any other applicable industry regulations

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of SAP FI/CO experience
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business or Finance and Accounting field
  • Plan and execute simultaneous projects
  • Analyze and solve technical and functional problems

Working Conditions

  • Productively work in a hybrid work environment which consists of 2 mandatory "all-in" days, 1 variable day, and 2 virtual days. Hybrid work environment is applied per position/department and may be subject to change per changes in the Policy.
  • Business casual office environment

Physical Requirements

  • Be able to sit for long periods of time
  • Extensive use of hands and fingers for lots of typing, and extensive use of eyes for intense focus on spreadsheets and systems on a computer screen
