JOB DESCRIPTION

The Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD) Europe organization is responsible for dealer services and parts business as well as for the service parts depots in Europe. From system perspective the Global SAP Service Parts Management (SPM) is used as a system backbone supporting the following functions: Enterprise Resource planning (ERP), Supply Chain Management (SCM-SPP), Extended Warehouse Management (SCM-EWM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Process Integration (PI), Business Warehouse (BW), Enterprise Portal NW, Solution Manager.

To date FCSD business and system processes are a major part of the strategic transformation of Ford Motor Company to become an always on, fully customer focused organization to support Fords future Model e, Ford Pro and Ford Blue parts and service strategies. This includes implementation of new business processes as well as redesign of existing and implementation of new customer facing systems.

In addition, activities have been started to define and execute the transition from the current SAP SPM to the new strategic SAP S/4HANA solution.

In this context the uSAP teams cover all processes from parts/ service planning, warehouse management, order entry/ processing, finance till parts delivery including all relevant master data set-up and maintenance.

The core responsibilities of the EU Cashing & Financials product team are billing, pricing, credit management, accounting, CO-PA, taxation, product costing to support dealer orders, claims & returns and marketing programs.

The team is co-located, organized in 2 product teams, Germany based and works closely with the FCSD business teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work in a multifunctional team with contacts in Europe, US and India to implement the financial business processes as part of the SAP Service Parts Management Solution
  • Focus on Accounting, Taxation, COPA
  • Collect, analyse and document complex business requirements and translate them into functional system requirements
  • Configure and test SAP standard software package according to the business requirements to support financial processes for FCSD
  • Develop functional specifications for interfaces or enhancements to the SPM SAP software package
  • Contribute to the migration from the SPM to the future S/4HANA platform
  • Reviews continuous integration build status and fixes build failures
  • Actively supports the long-term delivery roadmap of the software product.
  • Liaise with Ford internal PDO and external SAP development/ support teams to complete product enhancements
  • Closely work with Go-to market leads and key users in the markets and regions to demo and test enhancements.
  • Support product/ application monitoring and production issue resolution activities to ensure product KPIs are met
  • Active participant in team agile ceremonies, e.g. Iteration Planning, Daily Stand-up
  • Actively support and drive AGILE methodology in the PDO environment
  • Support continuous enhancements to the PDO organisation to drive team efficiencies


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have: SAP Finance Module knowledge (FI/CO, Tax) with work experience of more than 3 years plus experience in Finance Integration to SAP modules like SD, MM and logistics (Order To cash)
  • Must have basic S/4HANA solution knowledge and willing to acquire solid knowledge
  • Must have basic understanding of service parts business
  • Must have excellent business analysis competencies
  • Strong FI data analysis skills (retrieve & compile data for business analysis)
  • Must be willing to work in an AGILE PDO project
  • Must be willing to work in a global multicultural team
  • Must have an effective communication skills in English verbal and in writing
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and achieve results
  • Must show respect and empathy for team members, business partner and product customer
  • Must have the ability to work with a diverse and demanding customer base
  • Degree in information technology, business administration or a comparable qualification.
