SAP SCM TM Consultant

In this role you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.​ Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

As a Package Consultant at IBM get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills business knowledge and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients’ business environment and achieve business results.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their transportation management requirements and provide customized SAP TM solutions.
• Design configure and implement SAP TM modules to optimize transportation processes and enhance visibility.
• Handle requirements analysis functional design system configuration unit testing system integration test & support and hyper-care activities.
• Assist in defining and executing test plans to ensure successful SAP TM implementation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP TM configurations and integrations.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Must have 5+ years of experience in SAP TM
• Minimum 2 End to End Implementations and at least 2 Support Projects.
• Good knowledge of Supply Chain process and retail business value drivers.
• Good working knowledge of Freight Order Management Forwarding Order Management Transportation planning ERP Logistics Integration Transportation Network Charge calculation Freight Agreement Tendering.
• Leadership skills with ability to influence and negotiate internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams/stakeholders in an international and fast-moving environment.
• Must have worked on SAP TM integrates with other SAP modules like WM/EWM/S4 HANA/GTS/Yard Logistics to manage supply chain and logistics.
• Strong analytical skills result-oriented paired with highly structured working style and good sense of responsibility flexibility and team player.
