Scrum Master

Job position: Scrum Master

Location: Krakow (hybrid work 2-3 days per week in office )

Compensation: Competitive (including bonus)

Responsibilities:

• Removing Impediments
• Facilitating Scrum Events: The Scrum Master ensures the smooth and productive running of Scrum ceremonies:
  • Sprint Planning
  • Daily Scrum
  • Sprint Review
  • Sprint Retrospective
• Coaching the Development Team
• Protecting the Development Team
• Promoting Scrum Values

Requirements:

• 5+ years Agile SCRUM experience
• Data & Analytics domain experience, ideally in financial industry
• IT Development Management experience
• Ideally some experience in Business Analysis, understanding of Data and Data Tools such as SQL
• Strong servant leadership skills & relationship management and networking skills
• Excellent presentation and negotiating skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven experience in managing significant risks and problem resolution
• Experienced in scrum master and people management
• Understanding and implementation of key agile artefacts
• Understanding of Agile metrics and reporting. Release burn downs, Sprint Burn downs, Velocity etc. & User story mapping
• Story point sizing and ranking according to value based priorities for evaluation of a Minimum Viable Product
• MUST HAVE 2+ years' experience in one of the following: Agile Lead, Scrum Master or IT Team Leader
• Experience in managing IT services and reporting on service compliance
• Experience in ensuring task completion and accurate reporting of progress is completed for the pod
• Experience of Incident, Problem, Change and Release management and tracking
• Prior working experience with Azure DevOps will be an advantage but not a must. PREFERRED:
• Flexible, adaptable and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in the face of adversity.
• Good understanding of English is essential
• Understanding of big data and cloud technologies
• Knowledge of all components of an enterprise IT architecture and processes.
• Knowledge of ITIL, JIRA, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow
• Knowledge of Micro services architecture and Rest API concept
• Nice to have: knowledge in Splunk, database operations, .NET framework, automated testing, TDD, BDD
• Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts including related controls
