Security Guard

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our client, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in preventing loss and ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises. Duties • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. • Operate and maintain surveillance equipment • Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action. • Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order within the facility. • Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks. • Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations. • Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering First Aid and CPR when necessary. • Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts. Skills • Proficient in operating surveillance equipment. • Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly. • Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies. • Possession of relevant certifications (e.g., security certificate, First Aid, CPR). • Background in law enforcement or military service is preferred but not required. • Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure environments.
