Job Description

The primary purpose of the Security Host role is to provide safe and secure spaces across all Christ's Church campuses, including Christ's Church Academy. This position is responsible for safeguarding and securing all students, staff, and guests on campus. This role provides coverage whenever events are happening, whether on the weekends or weekdays. Responsibilities & Tasks People β€’ Ensure safety of worshippers and guests during services by monitoring entrances and exits, managing crowds and assisting during emergencies β€’ Always maintain professionalism β€’ Make presence knows by wearing Christ’s Church security attire (provided) β€’ Take proactive safeguards to prevent accidents and crimes; deescalate and resolve any issues that may arise β€’ Identify risks and vulnerabilities β€’ Manage access control by ensuring contractors and visitors complete the check in process at the Welcome Center β€’ Secure campus by using patrols and surveillance equipment and ensure all doors remain closed and locked Process β€’ Able to manage tasks and work independently β€’ Meet weekly with the Security Director to discuss campus needs and requests for the week β€’ Provide coverages for all events at all campuses β€’ Follow all child safety policies to safeguard children on campus β€’ Respond to alarms and irregular sounds, scanning areas for suspicious activity β€’ Document safety concerns and incidents across all campuses β€’ Follow crisis management plans across all campuses β€’ Serve as a point of contact for local law enforcement, fire, and EMS services β€’ Ensure all areas of campus are secure at the end of events – all guests have exited, all exterior doors are locked and securely closed, and all exterior gates are locked β€’ Must be able to work indoors and outdoors with exposure to inclement weather and unpredictable crisis situations Systems β€’ Utilize the designated tools and applications in ROCK to perform all essential functions required β€’ Utilize Office 365 suite of products, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel, and SharePoint β€’ Follow all established assimilation best practices and guidelines β€’ Utilize the Paycom app for time keeping and payroll functions
