The salary range for this position is $56,000 to $60,000

TheSecurity Manageris responsible for the oversight of safety and security of the hotel. This person reports to and partners with the Director of Security in responding to guest and team member emergencies, completing incident reports and supervising the security staff in the director's absence. The responsibilities of the Security Manager may include, but are not limited to:
• Monitor activities of guests and team members inside hotel premises via closed-circuit television (CCTV) system and personal observation, for criminal activities and/or violations of regulations, policies and procedures, or internal controls.
• Monitor the alarm system.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all property-related issues.
• Participate in investigations as the Director of Security deems necessary and appropriate.
• Attend periodic meetings and training sessions.
• Protect the assets of the company.
• Provide outstanding customer and team member service at all times.
• Completing all necessary reporting at the end of the shift.
• Ensure appropriate staffing coverage across all shifts while proactively monitoring schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years as a Security Lead or other supervisory role
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
• Authoritative verbal communication skills.
• Refined written communication skills
• Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to learn the layout of the property and buildings
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including varying shifts, start times, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs.
