About The Role: The Senior Accountant will be a highly motivated, experienced individual who can support best practices and contribute to financial reporting and process improvement for one of our key business units. Reporting to the Controller, your primary responsibilities will include participation in the day-to-day billing and customer facing activities, accounting operations, month-end close process, annual audit and special projects as needed. While this role offers flexibility, it is a requirement to be in our Buckhead office one day a week to work directly with other members of the accounting team. This is a great opportunity to build your accounting skillset at a growing company! 

Responsibilities: 

• Process customer sales orders and modifications to existing customer agreements 
• Run billing activities on monthly basis as well as on demand 
• Respond to the customer billing inquires with 5 star service 
• Run collections activities on a daily basis 
• Support the monthly revenue recognition process 
• Process bill payments and perform accounts payable reconciliations 
• Perform month-end close tasks including bank account reconciliations, journal entries, account reviews and balance sheet account reconciliations for prepaids, accruals, fixed assets 
• Support annual external audit and tax activities 
• Provide support for ad-hoc requests from Senior Leadership team as needed 

Skills Needed: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance 
• 5 years of Accounting experience. 
• Experience in technology / SaaS industry strongly preferred 
• Exceptional technical accounting, organization, communication skills, strong sense of urgency 
• Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) 
• Proven problem-solver and critical thinker with exemplary standards of accounting execution
• Strong Microsoft Office Excel skills a must 
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and Quickbooks Desktop highly desirable
