Senior Accounting Analyst for German market in IBM financing

Introduction
As an accounting analyst at IBM you’ll be a key player in all aspects of strategic payments planning. You will make significant contributions to high-profile operational initiatives as the business continues to grow globally.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities

• Operate end-to-end accounting desk related to financing receivables on Germany market.
• Overview of market portfolio revenue recognition intercompany accounting clearing accounts fixed assets and other parts of balance sheet.
• Classification of receivables (trade lease loan internal)
• Supervise and ensure all financial transaction in the general ledger are correct and auditable.
• Report to local and US consolidation team.
• Cooperation with Market CFO Statutory accounting other business counterparts.
• Act as advisor to sales and operational units on accounting financial requirements.
• Data analysis and interpretation
• Participation on team and company goals.

Minimum salary starts at 1.600 EUR per Month.

Preference will be given to the candidates who hold the relevant rights to work within the EU.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Master’s degree in Economics Finance Accounting or equivalent relevant experience
• 2-3 years of proven experience in accounting or finance with advanced MS Excel skills (e.g. Pivot Tables VLOOKUP)
• Proficient in written and spoken English with excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Strong problem-solving logical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to learn quickly
• Effective team player willing to learn new concepts and challenge the status quo
