The salary range for this position is $126,728 - $221,700. This range represents the salary for the position commensurate with experience, knowledge, and demonstrated success in the field.

• You have a passion for games, animation and are excited about our interactive medium.

• You demonstrate aesthetic flexibility and care in the creation of compelling and stylistically appropriate physical/emotional performances.
• You are careful to build up gameplay by pivoting rough animation ideas into something tangible and delightful, before iterating to polish.
• You strive to make animation content fit into the whole of the game, and consider the lenses through which narrative, design, audio, fx and product teams view character performance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Work within multidisciplinary teams to help define the requirements and character of animation content.
• Create high-quality gameplay animation for player characters, creatures, bosses and other in game actors.
• Mockup new features and player experiences where necessary.
• Sync with art team leadership and production on milestone goals and priorities.
• Collaborate with technical artists to define pipeline/tool/rig improvements and requirements.
• Learn about and make use of animator focused auto-rigging tools in character setup where necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of experience in game development (or relevant film experience) animating characters.
• Demonstrable track record of delivering high-quality play or film experiences through animation.
• Experience using Maya or equivalent animation tool
• Experience working within a game engine.
• Experience with character setup using auto-rigging tools, and other utilities built by tech artists.
