At Care/of, we take the guesswork out of feeling better by helping people build custom vitamin routines based on their unique needs. Whether it’s our personalized daily vitamin packs and powders through our direct-to-consumer business, or our multivitamins and blends with our retail partner Target, our products are backed by science and include a combination of highly-researched nutrients and traditionally used herbs. As the Supply Chain Associate, you’ll gain exposure to all aspects of supply chain management at Care/of. From upstream vendor management, to production planning at our fulfillment center, and even customer order delivery, you’ll help ensure that we have enough inventory to support our demand forecast, and that our customers are receiving their orders on time; both key components of our team’s success.Â
Specific tasks will include:Â
- Placement and management of all purchase ordersÂ
- Booking inbound freight, when necessary
- Daily updating of internal production plan model, and monitoring of our internal health metric: Days to Pack
- Monitoring and mitigating stuck order issues within our operation
- Outbound carrier relationship management and metrics monitoring
We are encouraging employees (whose job responsibilities allow) to work remotely with the option of returning to our Brooklyn-based office. We are committed to prioritizing workspace flexibility by building systems to create an inclusive and productive environment in which employees feel most comfortable working (role permitting).Â
You will be expected to spend your time working in person at our fulfillment center 2-3 days/week, with the option to work remotely the remainder of the time.
Who you are:
You are a motivated self-starter with excellent organizational skills. You have an interest in building a career within the field of Supply Chain Management, and you’re excited to work hands-on within different aspects of that department at Care/of. Strong analytical abilities and excel skills are a must!Â
Specific requirements include:
- 2+ years of experience working in Planning, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Excel and Google Sheet power-user
- Experience using data to drive decision making
- Ability to juggle conflicting priorities in an ever changing environment
- Strong, proactive communicator who is comfortable working cross-functionally
- Excellent written and spoken communication skillsÂ
Extra carrots 🥕 (preferred, but not required):
- Fluency in SQL
- Experience managing carrier relationships in your current or prior role

 Salary & Bonus:NYC Metro-Area Salary Range: $78,000 - $85,000*
Role Level: 2
Your compensation for this role will be based on how your experience aligns with our internal role-leveling, and our internal pay equity standards. For this role, base salary increases are reviewed annually.Â
You will be eligible to participate in our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) which is a cash bonus. Our AIP rewards the achievement of both annual company and annual individual performance objectives. Each employee’s target opportunity for an annual incentive award is a percentage of base salary and varies per role level.
*We have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
