Senior Automation Tester in Java

We are seeking a skilled Senior Automation Tester in Java to enhance our team and ensure the highest quality standards in our product development.
Within this role, you will be critical in advancing quality processes and designing effective automation solutions to improve our product offerings.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement detailed test plans for individual applications
• Generate test data and manage testing environment setup independently
• Engage in project-level reviews, walkthroughs, and inspections
• Review tests, including the assessment of test plans, requirements, cases, and automation
• Detect automation opportunities and carry out basic automation tasks
• Propel automation and Continuous Integration (CI) processes
• Work closely with developers to identify defects through requirements analysis and code reviews
• Compose functional and integration test cases
• Construct and apply automation frameworks using specified technologies
• Develop resilient acceptance and integration test automation scripts and incorporate them with Continuous Integration tools

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in testing APIs (REST)
• Proficiency in BrowserStack, Cucumber, Jenkins, REST API, Selenium, Serenity BDD
• Showcase of producing superior test strategies, test executions, and recognized test environment setup needs
• Expertise in coding, software development, or utilizing automation frameworks
• Skills in drafting functional and integration test cases
• Background in constructing and applying automation frameworks
• Competency in developing acceptance and integration test automation scripts and integration with Continuous Integration (Jenkins)

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Understanding of performance and security testing tools such as Gatling, JMeter, and Blazemeter
