Senior BI Analyst/Systems Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior BI Analyst/Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team.
In this key role, you will be tasked with spearheading business intelligence initiatives, enhancing system integrations, and ensuring the alignment of IT systems with business goals. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will drive the improvement of processes and the implementation of robust, scalable solutions. Mastery in tackling complex system challenges and delivering actionable insights through sophisticated analytics will be fundamental for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective BI strategies and analytics solutions
• Lead backend integration projects using API and microservices architecture
• Manage both relational and non-relational databases
• Create and maintain UML diagrams and model business processes
• Monitor the entire software development lifecycle to ensure adherence to best practices
• Gather, analyze and document business and functional requirements
• Craft detailed technical documentation and manage its updates throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders in a Scrum team setting
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues
• Communicate complex data insights to stakeholders through powerful presentations
• Plan and coordinate project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely execution

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in BI/Business Analysis/System Analysis roles
• Proficiency in backend integrations using API and microservices
• Competency in managing both relational and non-relational databases
• Proficiency in utilizing UML diagrams for business process modeling
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Demonstrated experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements
• Capability to produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and presentation abilities
• Planning and organizational skills to manage project timelines
• English proficiency at an upper-intermediate level (B2+) or higher

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services, Integration & ETL processes
• Skills in API testing using tools like Postman
• Background in the travel domain
• Experience with NoSQL databases
