Senior Business Development Manager - Public Sector

As an accomplished sales professional, you will create and implement strategies to drive business growth, build and maintain strong client relationships, and collaborate with partners and alliances. Your role will involve understanding client needs in the Public Sector and translating them into Avanade solutions. What you will do:

• Originate, qualify, negotiate, and close deals for Avanade products and services

• Activate sales strategy in chosen Accounts or Territories to grow the Public Sector business

• Coordinate with teams to achieve sales and revenue impact

• Bring necessary support through business tools and requirements

• Work closely with Business Development professionals, Regional Sales Management, and Sales Leadership

• Collaborate with Avanade Client Account Leads (ACAL), Regional Marketing teams, Finance, Legal, Sales Operations, Alliance teams, and counterparts in Accenture and Microsoft

Skills and experiences:

• An extensive network in the WA Public Sector Market.

• A strong understanding of WA government budget processes, technology strategy and policies.

• Proven track record of selling large-scale consulting engagements in WA State Government clients

• Experienced in the nuances of interacting with State Government clients and inter Department engagement

• Highly organized with strong time management and coordination skills

• Resilience in dealing with multiple stakeholders across a large region

• A natural leader defined by their knowledge and experience

• Collaborative and able to navigate multiple cultures and styles

• Problem-solving mindset

• Mature interpersonal and persuasion skills
