Senior Cache/MUMPS Developer

Job Description:
MicroHealth is seeking a skilled Senior Cache/MUMPS Developer to support our client and team in Vienna, VA.
Location: This is a remote opportunity.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Perform as a Lead Backend Developer on the TC2 application using a Cache/IRIS database and the MUMPS/ObjectScript languages
· TC2 is the DoD clone of the Legacy Composite Healthcare Systems (CHCS) application with a web client added to it called TC2 GUI.
· Work closely with the TC2 GUI developer to resolve any issues between the frontend and backend
· Experience writing ObjectScript SQL stored procedures (SqlProc) that are referenced by the frontend GUI application
· Ensure ongoing changes developed by CHCS are integrated into the TC2 code base without issue
· Develop, modify and maintain internal/external interfaces to include HL7 messaging, TC2 communicates with several other applications via HL7
· Ideal candidate is a self learner and can internalize the business logic of the application quickly, with and without assistance
· Ideal candidate will work with other developers and communicate often and effectively
· Ideal candidate is comfortable navigating a large MUMPS/Objectscript code base
· Troubleshoot/resolve individual hospital site issues
· Contribute to documentation as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with Composite Healthcare Systems (CHCS) Caché (TC2) and/or CHCS applications
· Experience with facilitating data flow between a Java Client application running on a JBOSS server and an IRIS/Cache backend via Intersystems JDBC is a plus
· Experience with VM software (taking snapshots) is a plus
· Experience with Java Server Faces, JSF (Primefaces) and Java is a plus
· Experience with Install Shield (Install Script projects) is a plus
Basic Qualifications:
· Experience with Fileman, Windows, HL7 messaging
· A minimum of five plus (5+) years of related experience
· Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science, Math, Electrical Engineering or related field)
· Experience with Agile practices such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe is a plus
· Experience with Agile Management tools including Jira and Confluence is a plus
· Experience with Intersystems M/Mumps/Cache/ObjectScript/IRIS
· Security+ certification
Clearance Requirements:
· Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance suitability
