Senior Cloud Application Architect – Azure

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior Cloud Application Architect specializing in Azure your role will be pivotal in guiding clients through their digital transformation journey and addressing complex challenges. You will define the direction and scope for projects that deliver custom solutions leveraging your deep knowledge of Azure services. As a technical leader you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders technical resources and project teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• • Identifying the right Azure services for the design development and deployment of applications based on specified requirements
  • Facilitating the migration of complex multi-tier applications to Azure adhering to Azure’s top security practices
  • Reviewing cloud application requirements and providing architectural advice for implementation deployment and provisioning applications on Azure
  • Designing and maintaining DevSecOps within Azure and Hybrid Cloud structures
  • Serving as the organization’s primary point of contact for Azure Cloud solutioning and delivery
  • Providing best practice guidance on the architectural design across multiple applications and projects within the enterprise
  • Promoting the development of Azure skills within the team
  • Leading both local and remote teams of architects and developers in the solution delivery and governanc

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Required Professional and Technical Expertise:

• • Over 15 years of experience in IT services across various sectors
  • At least 8 years of experience acting as an Architect in major public cloud Digital transformation platform/products/services
  • Azure Solution Architect certification
  • 5 or more years of hands-on experience designing and deploying cloud architecture on Azure

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Familiarity with container technologies (e.g. Kubernetes Docker)
• Preferred certification in Enterprise Architecture frameworks like TOGAF or equivalent
