We are the owners of production infrastructure, managing thousands of servers scattered in multiple data-centers around the globe.

You will:

  • Being the main Cloud DevOps for projects and repairs throughout the virtual servers environments within LivePerson private on-premises and public clouds.
  • Manage virtualization layer OpenStack and VMware Production environments, from provisioning, debugging and troubleshooting, maintaining, till decommissioning phases
  • Debug and operate VMware, OpenStack clusters and nodes, DNS, LDAP, MS AD, SSO, NTP, CDN, SMTP related incidents and problems
  • Support public cloud users and programs within AWS and GCP
  • Perform upgrades, integration, rebuild and other projects
  • Track issues and analyze data, looking for trends and systemic issues
  • Help identify specifications for tools that facilitate usage, capacity management and decommissioning processes of virtual machines at scale
  • You will participate in the occasional on-call rotation supporting the infrastructure.
  • Take an active part in designing and architecting large-scale data centers virtualization layers, aiming to improve data center layout and capacity, on both on-premises and in public cloud, as a response for Global Products and Technology programs and business initiatives needs.

You have:

  • Hands-on experience in high-scale production environment
  • Support cloud operations tasks and programs for both on-premise and public clouds
  • Assist service owners teams on migration efforts from on-premise to public clouds tasks from cloud operations related tasks
  • Experience with virtual servers health reviews, troubleshooting, related hardware health status checks
  • Work experience under 99.999% Uptime constraints, operational controls and change management lifecycle
  • 6+ years maintaining Linux and virtualized environments
  • Decent level of networking and network hardware knowledge such as Cisco and Arista Switches, Routers, Top-of-rack switch configuration
  • Knowledge with Python and Shell scripting and automation tools such as Terraform, Rundeck, Ansible
  • Knowledge with physical servers management and virtualization layers installation
  • Experience with configuration management (Puppet), Cobbler or similar tools
  • Understanding of out-of-band/lights-out server communication methods, such as IPMI and redfish.
  • Be a team player with passion to owns important programs and help others to achieve their goals and success
