Senior Communications Manager

Join us as a Healthcare Thought Leadership Senior Communications Manager on our Global Corporate Communications & Customer Engagement Team.
We're looking for an exceptional content marketer and writer for the Nuance Precision Imaging Network, or PIN, a cloud-based platform that connects more than 10,000 healthcare facilities, empowering them to share patient-specific data securely and efficiently, and to leverage AI-generated insights within their clinical and administrative workflows.
To be successful, you'll need an intellectually curious mindset and the willingness to combine creativity with organizational skills to manage multiple short- and long-term projects simultaneously.
What you'll achieve
You will use your knowledge of the world of SaaS and cloud, alongside outstanding healthcare-specific writing and content strategy skills, to bring to life the Nuance PIN thought leadership story. You'll define the strategy and content needed, working with internal teams and executives to translate complicated ideas into stories.
Job responsibilities

• Develop external thought leadership strategy, priorities, and execution plan in alignment with overall strategic business objectives
• Partner with the marketing team to support go-to-market plans
• Create and maintain a content strategy to build and extend our PIN messaging in the market.
• Write, edit, and proofread original content pieces such as press releases, bylines, blogs, and social media posts
• Leverage internal and market data as part of content plans that showcase executives' thought leadership and point of view
• Align with the speaker's bureau to uncover new and creative ways to engage customers and target audience segments
• Research healthcare market trends and specialties to tailor storytelling in alignment with business strategy and goals
• Mentor and inspire others on the team

Essential requirements

• 8-10 years of agency and/or in-house experience in a similar role with exposure to healthcare, medical device, and/or pharma communications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• Outstanding writing skills, with experience creating blog and social media content
• Ability to juggle multiple short- and long-term deadlines
• Demonstrated excellence in translating complex topics to C-level audiences in compelling, innovative, and informative ways
• Strong leadership qualities

• The ability to proactively seek and find stories with limited guidance or direction, interviewing stakeholders, and crafting stories in their voice for external consumption
• Flexibility working cross-functionally with a wide variety of stakeholders including marketing, product teams, PR/communications, executive leadership, creative agencies, and more
• Strong research and analytical skills, identifying topics of interest with a clear point of view
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
