About this Role:
Infinitive is looking for candidates who are accountable, passionate, assertive, proactive, open & honest, results oriented, and adaptable. The ideal candidate will have business process and/or project management experience in the media or advertising industry that can help support our clients objectives in the advertising and sales operations space.
We are currently looking for a Senior Consultant in our Advertising Operations competency group who will:
- Analyze clients advertising business by creating the vision, defining the objectives, designing the organization and charting a course forward to implement next-generation capabilities.
- Optimize the order-to-cash process with efficient and synchronized workflows, optimized product catalog and taxonomy, integrating systems and data streams, and identifying and training highly empowered users.
- Help clients adopt Order Management solutions through a well-defined business case, clear requirements, evaluation and selection aligned to unique needs, and complete, role-based training.
- Improve audience and data intelligence to engage and target audiences more precisely by using existing data more effectively and enhancing it with third-party data for richer insights.
- Enhance client direct and programmatic sales channels, driving improved yield and more precise forecasting with solutions designed to optimize revenue.
- Help them master the challenges of linear & digital convergence, including cross-platform and multi-screen advertising, integrated process models, better metrics and audience data and fully aligned teams.
- Support complex projects to help Digital Media clients transform their order to cash operations, data and workflow.
- Advise clients on industry best practices in terms of sales operations, order management, campaign fulfillment, yield management and billing.
- Support consulting projects to help clients successfully adopt new processes, data standards and/or technology.
- Develop successful client relationships through accurate and on-time project delivery.
Additionally, the ideal candidate has:
- Driven a compelling advertising technology point of view, while enabling clients to understand how data and technology can improve their business outcomes.
- Supported ad technology implementation projects by driving requirements, design, development, training, launch, and post-launch support.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with digital media publishers, agencies or technology vendors supporting ad operations, analytics, or yield management.
- Hands-on experience with Publisher-side ad technology platforms such as ad server, OMS, SSP (Operative/FreeWheel experience highly desired)
- Experience with advertising campaign KPIs and business intelligence systems (e.g., dashboards, reports, etc. to understand and optimize performance).
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or higher with a course focus on engineering, computer science, business information systems, marketing, or mathematics preferred.
- Excellent structured communication skills with the ability to frame complex advertising and technical concepts in a way that facilitates discussion and deeper levels of understanding at our clients. Ability to bridge ad sales, ad operations, and technology.
- Ability to present to technical, business audiences and tell stories to persuade using data and analysis.
- A self-starting orientation within a fast-paced environment with an intense desire/drive to “make things happen”.
- Preferred position location in core office locations (NYC/DC Metro/Richmond) but must have the ability to travel up to 20%.
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous consulting experience.
- Experience with CRM (Salesforce preferred) solutions and best practices.
- Experience developing product taxonomies and audience segmentation strategies for Digital Media companies preferred.
