Our Senior Content Manager will be a skilled storyteller with a passion for building brands through a variety of platforms and tactics. He/she will collaborate across the organization to identify opportunities to create content targeting key customer audiences and pull together the key data, commentary, and insights to tell our stories. He/she will deliver compelling content that furthers Apartments.com brand goals including awareness, interest, and loyalty.

Our Senior Content Manager will be a skilled storyteller with a passion for building brands through a variety of platforms and tactics. He/she will collaborate across the organization to identify opportunities to create content targeting key customer audiences and pull together the key data, commentary, and insights to tell our stories. He/she will deliver compelling content that furthers Apartments.com brand goals including awareness, interest, and loyalty.
Responsibilities:
- Write, edit, and publish digital and printable content that supports the Apartments.com customer value proposition, competitive advantage and client success stories
- Tactics include but not limited to white papers, testimonials, webinars, videos, blog posts, website and social media, and more
- Develop and maintain an editorial calendar across various digital channels including website and marketing promotional campaigns
- Partner with internal and external resources to develop and build content for social media channels
- Own website content, management and layout, approaching the website with an SEO-friendly mindset
- Identify best-in-class content strategies and tactics both inside and outside our industry and apply best practices to our strategy and approach
- Collaborate with internal teams including sales and training to understand how sales, their clients and prospects consume content and apply those learnings
- Work with marketing partners in campaign management, sales enablement, events, field support and more to ensure that content is relevant for their stakeholders
- Manage individual projects with internal and external creative resources that design content
- Monitor and measure traffic and engagement with our content and adjust our content strategy as needed to grow brand awareness and loyalty
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in a content development and management role
- Bachelors' Degree in English, Marketing, Journalism or related field
- Proven experience managing internal and external teams to execute projects
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to apply sound judgment in new or ambiguous situations
- Ability to remain nimble and quickly shift project priorities as business needs fluctuate
- Strong experience leading both strategic development and tactical execution of content-related projects
- Can thrive while juggling multiple projects at various stages of development
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Analytics
