Senior Content Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Content Specialist with a deep understanding of the sports industry. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing our content strategy, driving engagement, and enhancing our brand presence in the competitive landscape of sports betting. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sports, possess exceptional writing skills, have experience in running social media channels (own or for a client), knows how to create engaging sports videos and have a proven track record of creating high-quality content that resonates with target audiences. This person should also have stron interpersonal skills and need to be able to organize not only his work, but also others.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• 4+ years of experience in content creation / influencer marketing and strategy development within the sports industry (sports marketing agencies, sport clubs/organisations, media, betting industry, other sports-related companies).
• Proven track record of creating engaging and shareable content across various platforms.
• Good writing and editing skills with impeccable grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Excellent knowledge of the media & social media market in Poland.
• Experience in working with social media influencers / creators. Ability to research, approach, negotiate deals and manage influencer activities online. Very high level of organisation.
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
• Creative thinker with a passion for sports and a keen eye for storytelling.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Speaks English at least at B2 level

Nice to have:

• Strong understanding of sports betting terminology, odds, and market dynamics.
• Good relationship with journalists & sports/betting influencers.
• Proficiency in SEO principles and content management systems (CMS).
• Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics or similar platforms.

 What you’ll be doing:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with business objectives and target audience preferences within the sports betting industry.
• Produce compelling, high-quality content including articles, blogs, social media posts, newsletters, videos, and other multimedia formats relevant to sports betting enthusiasts.
• Build and coordinate a team of microinfluencers, which will produce engaging video & written content. Review each influencer, be in touch with them, onboard new creators & negotiate deals.
• Implement best practices to ensure content is effectively optimized for search engines, driving organic traffic and improving search rankings.
• Lead a team of content creators and editors, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to brand voice and style guidelines.
• Coordinate content distribution across various channels including website, social media platforms, email campaigns, and partner websites to maximize reach and engagement.
• Monitor content performance metrics, analyze data insights, and refine strategies to optimize engagement, conversion rates, and overall content effectiveness.
• Follow industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and ensure our content remains relevant and innovative.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, design, product, and other teams to align content initiatives with overall business goals and marketing campaigns.
• Ensure all content complies with legal regulations and industry standards pertaining to sports betting advertising and promotions.
