Senior Copywriter

You will:

• Oversee all product copy and brand messaging across our owned channels (including website, emails, social, blog, and print collateral)
• Partner with marketing and merchandising teams to ensure product copy across all touchpoints (ex., email, site, etc.) effectively communicates key selling points
• Maintain a casual and distinctive tone of voice that reinforces our brand
• Ensure our writing at every touchpoint is consistent and sounds like it’s coming from a single voice
• Write clear, concise, compelling copy to describe our products
• Understand SEO principles and optimize our product and blog pages accordingly
• Manage assignment delegation to in-house team members and freelancers
• Embrace our brand strategy and core customer, consistently reinforcing our values and voice across all channels.
• Work out of our New York City office 3 days per week in a hybrid model.

The ideal candidate:

• Has 6+ years of experience in copywriting 
• Experience writing product copy for a consumer brand 
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple projects at once
• Is a meticulous proofreader with excellent attention to detail
• Has hands-on experience with Content Management Systems 
• Has experience writing for a similar audience to our own
• Can show a portfolio of written work and is able to complete a short writing sample during the interview process

Bonus points for:

• Expertise with SEO principles to maximize reach to our target audience
• Experience writing for e-commerce or subscription services
• Experience managing other copywriters

• Starting base salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 per year
