Senior Data Analyst

We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our growing Data team. After a year in the role, you will have led the effort to grow and scale our Analytics function, enabling us to derive business insights that shape the direction of Mantra. We’re looking forward to meeting folks who dig into data for fun, and who will help enable data adoption across the organization. The Senior Data Analyst will:

• Report to the Head of Business Operations
• Be a leader in leveraging data to shape the organization and how we use data to inform decisions
• Build a data-driven culture by partnering with leaders across the organization to assist them in deriving insights that lead to increased performance
• Communicate not just status updates, but rather insights and recommendations driven by what’s in the data
• Provide the data perspective on complex and unstructured problems
• Increase data availability and self-service through building business intelligence solutions
• Perform exploratory analyses that inform opportunities or validate strategic directions
• Serve as the critical link between the business domain experts and the technical data experts

• 5+ years of experience working in a full-time analytics role
  • Ideally having been part of building and scaling an analytics function at a startup
• Familiar with the level of ambiguity and structure that comes with working at a startup
• Demonstrated history of using data to create business impact
• Strong verbal AND written communication skills across a range of stakeholders with varying degrees of technical data expertise
• Worked on a small team (or solo team) and has no issues with working outside the confines of the job description
• Experience working in a similar business model with an understanding of what levers drive value
  • Healthcare knowledge not required, but is a plus.
• Solid understanding of statistical methods and foundational concepts
• Familiar with Modern Data Stack concepts and tools, including:
  • ETL Tools - Fivetran, Stitch, etc
  • Data Warehouses - Snowflake, BigQuery, RedShift, etc.
  • Looker - LookML
• Quantitative Degree preferred
  • Math, CS, Data, Statistics
  • Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain (if technical-leaning)

The salary range for this position is $130k - $160k
