Job Summary
Under direction, interprets data to help organizations make informed decisions. Collects, processes, analyzes, and presents data in a concise format or presentation. Conducts research, analyzes complex statistical data, develops planning timetables, evaluates systems policies and procedures, and makes recommendations to achieve goals and objectives. May exercise functional or technical supervision over assigned staff.

Essential Job Functions
β’ Collects, cleans, and analyzes data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
β’ Performs data analysis to help identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
β’ Applies statistical methods and data modeling techniques to interpret data and make predictions.
β’ Compiles and cleans databases and data collection systems for optimal data quality and efficiency.
β’ Designs reporting dashboards to translate data to an understandable illustrative format to non-technical audiences.
β’ Performs basic and advanced statistical analyses with quantitative and qualitative data.
β’ Leads collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver relevant data-driven solutions.
β’ Ensures data privacy and security compliance in all data handling and processing activities.
β’ Stays updated with the latest data analysis tools, techniques, and industry trends for continuous improvement.
β’ Researches technical issues and provides solutions; makes technological recommendations for improvements.
β’ May assist in the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget.
β’ Uses findings to make data-driven recommendations for practices, programming, and policies.
β’ Prepares and completes ad-hoc reporting requests, summaries, and presentations.
β’ Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.
Job Requirements
β’ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
β’ Two (2) years of experience in a relevant field, including but not limited to data analysis or statistical modeling.
β’ Applicants for this position must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) fingerprint-based background check and maintain CJIS eligibility. Due to CJIS requirements related to system access, the following will result in being disqualified for this position: Felony Convictions, Felony Deferred Adjudication, Class A & B Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication, Class B Misdemeanor Convictions, an Open Arrest for Any Criminal Offense (Felony or Misdemeanor), and Family Violence Convictions.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Masterβs degree from an accredited college or university.
β’ Five (5) years of increasingly responsible professional experience in municipal court and/or magistration operations, including two (2) years of supervisory or lead experience.
β’ Municipal Court Clerk Certification, Level I, highly desired.
β’ Experience developing and maintaining relationships with diverse community partners, including law enforcement and community agencies.
β’ Experience and skilled in data collection and analysis.
β’ Proficiency in MS Suite.
β’ Experience working in a high-stress environment while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
β’ Experience in public speaking and presenting.
β’ Experience in writing reports, surveys, and marketing materials.
β’ Experience in a position of trust.
β’ Experience providing support services to a high-level administrator.
β’ Demonstrated superior organizing and prioritization skills.
Applicant Information
β’ Unless otherwise stated, applicants are permitted to substitute two years of related full-time experience for one year of higher education or one year of related higher education for two years of experience in order to meet the minimum requirements of the job. One year of full-time experience is defined as 30 or more hours worked per week for 12 months. One year of higher education is defined as 30 credit hours completed at an accredited college or university.
