Senior Data Engineering Lead - SQL Server, Azure, ETL, DB Design, Architecture

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data classification strategies and policies
• Implement data de-identification, data protection, data masking, and tokenization techniques
• Stay updated with industry standards, best practices, and regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance
• Conduct assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities
• Deliver training programs on data classification, protection, and compliance
• Implement data storage, data modeling, and data retrieval techniques to ensure optimal performance and scalability
• Perform data profiling, data cleansing, and data transformation to ensure data quality and integrity
• Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to extract data from various sources, transform it into a usable format, and
• load it into the target systems
• Optimize data processing and data storage for large-scale data sets to ensure efficient data retrieval and analytics
• Implement data security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Tools: Varonis Data Classification Framework, Microsoft Azure Information Protection, Delphix Data Masking, Symantec Data Loss
• Prevention, RSA Archer Suite, Compliance 360 or similar
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 12+ years of experience in database technologies with solid expertise in SQL Server, Azure, and related frameworks
• Extensive experience in designing and developing data solutions, data pipelines, and data integration systems
• Experience with ETL tools, database design- architecture and processes
• Proficiency in data modeling, data warehousing, and data retrieval techniques
• In-depth knowledge of data privacy regulations and standards
• Solid understanding of data classification, data de-identification, data protection, tokenization, and compliance
