Senior Data Software Engineer (Azure+Databricks)

Our client is a German electrical and mechanical engineering company, a manufacturer of electro-mechanical industrial and household appliances.
The goal of the project is to build a highly scalable data analytics platform to provide meaningful data for data-driven product lifecycle use cases with semantic digital twins and knowledge graphs.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Implement data pipelines using Data Factory, Azure services for data processing, Databricks
• Implement data product prototypes using Databricks
• Assist the delivery team with source data profiling

Requirements

• Knowledge of Python
• Experience with Azure services for data processing
• Knowledge of Azure Databricks
• Understanding of CI/CD principles
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms and data solutions
• Experience with Airflow and Spark will be an advantage
• Good communication skills, ability to work in a team
• Knowledge of written and spoken English at Upper-Intermediate level and above (B2+)
